Two things Princess does better than most

Princess will match your casino status from another program. If you hold a tier elsewhere — at sea or on land — you may be able to start near it here instead of earning from zero. Virgin and MSC run comparable schemes against rival offers; Princess matches status. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity advertise neither.
Enrolment is automatic through the Medallion. Princess's wearable already identifies you at the machine, so there's no card to collect and no play lost on day one because you hadn't signed up yet. Every other line makes you go to the desk first, and people routinely lose a day's earning to it.

"Sea You Soon"

Princess's headline casino reward works per-voyage rather than as a running balance: play enough on one sailing and you leave with an offer for a future one — a stateroom, FreePlay, and on the richer rungs a package. It's the per-cruise equivalent of Royal Caribbean's instant certificates, except the price scales with how long the voyage was.

Princess does publish the full chart — but only as images behind four voyage-length tabs, with no alt text, which is why it has never turned up in a search and why it circulates as forum screenshots instead. We've published it as text: the complete Sea You Soon point chart → All nine rungs, all four voyage lengths, plus a calculator and the reason two 7-day cruises beat one 14-day. Note the thresholds went up in September 2025, so older charts online are stale.

What Princess doesn't publish

The earn rate. No dollars-per-point figure for slots or video poker. As a Carnival Corporation brand it would likely sit near 1 point per $2 on slots, but Princess doesn't say so.
Tier structure — because there isn't one. Hearts, Ultimate and Prestige are invitational cruise types, not status levels, and Princess says so outright: its own Prestige FAQ answers "what requirements must I meet to maintain my Prestige status?" with "Prestige is not a status; it is a type of cruise where players are selected based on their previous casino play" — the top 2% of players, by its own description. Diamond is the one genuine annual status, and it is invitation-only with unpublished criteria. There is no ladder to climb, only a phone call to wait for.
Point expiry and table game rating.

There's no tier calculator here for that reason. The certificate calculator on the chart page works differently — it treats the earn rate as a visible, adjustable input you can calibrate from your own sailing, because the thresholds it prices are Princess's own. The lines that publish their rates get fully pre-loaded tools: Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Celebrity, NCL. The comparison page lays out who discloses what.

How to play this one

Use the tier match before you sail — it's the highest-value thing on this page and it costs nothing but a phone call. If you hold Club Royale Prime or an NCL tier, find out what Princess will do with it.

On board, ask the desk directly what Sea You Soon takes this year and get it in writing if you can. And judge whatever you're offered against the cash price of the cabin, because without a published rate the point total on your statement tells you nothing about what you actually earned.

Sailing Princess Cruises? You can fill in the blanks

Princess Cruises doesn't publish these figures, so we don't either — everything above is either sourced or marked as missing. But the numbers do exist on board, usually printed on a card at the players club desk. If you can photograph one, we'll do the math, publish it, and credit you.

Your earn rate from a 2026 sailing — points earned against roughly what you cycled. Every figure we have is from 2025, and Princess changed the rate once already without announcing it.
What your tier match produced, if you've used one — which program you matched from and what Princess gave you.
Whether table play earned you anything worth measuring. Princess rates tables on time and average bet, and player reports of what that's worth differ by more than an order of magnitude.

Only photograph what's already in plain view. Don't open menus on a machine, don't ask crew to show you anything, and don't linger over a screen that isn't yours. A rate card on the desk is fair game; anything else isn't worth it. That rule protects you, not us.

Why bother? Because this is how the rest of the site got built. A reader's photo of a slot machine's lifetime meters produced the only public RTP figures for cruise-ship slots, and a floor walk produced the ship-by-ship slot directory. Cruise lines don't publish this. Players do.
