Princess Sea You Soon Point Chart: Every Certificate Tier, by Voyage Length
Princess publishes this chart on its own site — as four flat images with no alt text, which is why you've never found it in a search. Here it is as actual text, plus what each rung costs in play.

Sea You Soon is Princess's instant certificate: play the casino during a sailing and you leave with an offer for a future cruise — a stateroom, FreePlay, and on the richer rungs a drinks or Princess Plus package. Unlike Royal Caribbean's flat ladder, the price scales with how long the voyage was, which turns out to matter a great deal.

What each rung costs in actual play
The thresholds below are Princess's own published figures. The earn rate is not — Princess publishes no points-per-dollar anywhere — not on the Sea You Soon page, not in its terms. It starts at $2 per point on slots and $5 on video poker, both reported first-hand by cruisers as recently as November 2025. Treat them as dated rather than fixed: slots were $2.50 until late 2024, and Princess reserves the right to change the ratio without notice. Calibrating from your own sailing below beats either figure.
Sets the rate below. Neither is a Princess figure — both come from cruisers, last confirmed November 2025. Table games have no dollar rate at all: Princess rates them on time played and average bet, at the host's discretion, and reports of what that's worth vary far too widely to model.
Not published by Princess. If you see $2.50 quoted elsewhere, that was the real slot rate until late 2024 — Princess cut it to $2.00 without announcing it, and reserves the right to move it again. Every coin-in and cost figure below scales with this number.

Why two 7-day cruises beat one 14-day
Look at what the columns do and the chart gives something away. The points scale with voyage length. The reward does not. A Mini-Suite with $2,000 FreePlay costs 20,000 points earned on a short sailing and 50,000 on an 11–16 day one — same cabin, two and a half times the play.
So two 7-night cruises cost 40,000 points and pay two certificates plus $4,000 of FreePlay, where one 14-night cruise costs 50,000 and pays one certificate and $2,000. Fewer points, twice the reward — and it holds on all nine rungs.

The one number Princess doesn't publish
Everything above is Princess's own figure. The gap is the earn rate — how many dollars of coin-in make one point. It appears nowhere: not on the chart, not on the Sea You Soon page, not in the terms. Princess confirms only that table games are rated on time and average bet, and that points accrue through the earning window.
Cruisers report it consistently, so here it is with a date attached rather than as a fact:
- Slots — $2 of coin-in per point. Multiple first-hand accounts, the most recent from 17 November 2025, stated flatly: two dollars played on a slot equals one point.
- Video poker — $5 of coin-in per point. Three separate players on three dates (March 2025, May 2025, and November 2025 — the last from someone who plays video poker exclusively).
- Table games — no dollar rate exists. Princess's own chart fine print says table offers are "based on time played and average bet," host-rated. Reports of what an hour is worth vary so wildly that publishing a number would be inventing one. If a page quotes you "$5 per point on tables," that is the video poker figure misattributed.
Why you'll also see $2.50
Because it was true. Slots earned 1 point per $2.50 until roughly October 2024, when Princess cut it to $2.00 alongside new posted charts — with no announcement. Older forum posts and search snippets still carry the old number. That is the useful thing to take away: Princess's own Hearts terms reserve the right to change the ratio "without notice," and it has already exercised that right once. Any earn rate you read, including ours, is a snapshot with a date on it.
The September 2025 change was to the thresholds above, not to the earn rate — a player who deliberately sat the change out confirmed both in the same breath.
If you sailed in 2026, tell us your rate. Points earned against roughly what you cycled is enough. Every figure above is from 2025 or earlier, and the last confirmed rate change went unannounced — so a current reading is genuinely worth something.
One benefit worth knowing about
1,500 points earned on the sailing you're on unlocks "Drinks On Us" — free drinks in the casino, waiter service only, for the rest of that cruise. It does not carry over and it is separate from the Drinks On Us package attached to the Balcony certificates above. At the reported slot rate that is roughly $3,000 of coin-in, which is a low bar if you were playing anyway. Still current as of January 2026.

How many points do I need for a free Princess cruise?
It depends on the cabin and — critically — the length of the voyage you earn on. On a sailing of 7 days or less, 4,000 points reaches an Interior with $400 FreePlay, 20,000 reaches a Mini-Suite with $2,000, and 45,000 reaches a Suite with $3,000. The same rewards cost roughly twice as much on a voyage over 16 days.
Does Princess publish the Sea You Soon point chart?
Yes, on its own Sea You Soon page — but only as images behind four voyage-length tabs, with no alt text. That makes the chart official and simultaneously invisible to search engines, which is why it circulates as forum screenshots and travel-agency reshares. The figures on this page were read off Princess's own images.
When does the earning window close?
From the moment the casino opens until 11:59 PM on the second-to-last night of the voyage. On a 7-day cruise that means the window closes on day 5.
How long do I have to use a Sea You Soon offer?
30 days from disembarkation to book the offer, and 6 months to sail.
How many points does Princess give per dollar played?
Princess does not publish an earn rate anywhere — not on the chart, not on the Sea You Soon page, not in the terms. That is the one missing number, and it is why the calculator on this page treats the rate as an adjustable input rather than a fixed constant.
