What state law says
New Hampshire gambling law is administered by the New Hampshire Lottery Commission. The state has a lottery, charitable gaming, and legal sports betting (launched 2019 with DraftKings as initial operator). New Hampshire does not have commercial casinos; casino-style gaming is limited to charitable gaming events.
New Hampshire RSA Chapter 287-D addresses lotteries and gaming. The state does not have a sweepstakes-specific statute comparable to Florida’s § 849.094, but New Hampshire does have an established promotional sweepstakes framework under lottery law. The Lottery Commission has not issued guidance or enforcement actions specifically targeting online sweepstakes casino platforms.
Recent developments
No legislation targeting dual-currency sweepstakes casinos has been introduced in the New Hampshire General Court as of June 2026. New Hampshire neighbors both Massachusetts (all 3 platforms available) and Vermont (all 3 platforms available) — neither of which has enacted bans — providing regional consistency.
